Good afternoon Freeskiers!

This weekend we have a few things going on at Smuggs. On Saturday the resort is hosting another free #smuggslove rail jam event. This event will be open to younger athletes as well this time around. Registration is from 8am-10am at the base lodge. Start time is 11am. If athletes want to compete, sign up before Team starts and we will be able to get to the park for your runs while also training.

We will be hosting a Stop the Bleed Training this Saturday. Look for Ryan’s email for the signups! The Mountain Team and older Freeskiers should sign up, it’s good training to have.

On Sunday we are hosting the Adult IFSA Q 3* comp. We have about 75 athletes from all over the world this year trying to earn enough points to get into the Challenger series at the end of the year for their shot at the FWT. Hot food really helps the judges and TDs get these events done. They are outside all day getting our events done for us, a hot meal goes a long way to help them concentrate and keep them going.

We will also need some forerunners, Ninjas throughout the day and some help with score running, especially if we are on the 3 soldiers’ venue. We should know for sure by Friday which venue we are on.
