Hello, younger freeski athletes and parents!
The sign ups for the U12 Championships open up THIS THURSDAY: March 13th at 8pm EST.
Those who want to go it filled super quick last year, within a matter of minutes. Registration is first come, first serve based on the time stamp you get once you have completed all of your registration. All that is required is that an athlete has done an IFSA comp this year to get in.
A few things to help speed up the process: *In the waviers: you don’t have to use your full address. Just use your town and state.
*login to your LiveHeats accounts sometime this week before Thursday, and make sure your payment and info are up to date.
*If you have two athletes, try to have two people help register at the same time to get both kids in. It will be faster than the normal way of registering for adding a second athlete (the time stamp for the first athlete doesn’t happen until the second one is finished).

Let me know if you are in need of a beacon/ shovel/ probe/ ski backpack.
I’ll try to dig up a few spares to have with us in Kirkwood. When I competed, my comp shovel and probe were small and lite, not the tools I would actually use in the backcountry.
Meg started a spreadsheet on Google so we can see where everyone is staying, when people are traveling and to have team meals:

Have a great week!
