Hello Freeskiers!
It's currently raining here at the mountain. It's looking like it will switch over to snow sometime overnight, and will be snowing off and on all weekend. It will be a lot warmer than last weekend, so that will be a nice change. It may freeze overnight so be ready for that. As a reminder that we will meet in between the clubhouse and the green Maintenance building near where they have all the rails stacked currently. We will be training at normal times 9:30-2pm. Make sure you are dressed and ready to go at 9:30.

We will have a few coaching shifts this week, Matt Ellinger is back for the season and will be coaching Saturdays with the 'yellow' pod. On Sunday we will have Howie coming in to sub in for the weekend and will be working with the 'yellow' pod. Owen will be filling in for Teo with the 'blue' pod and Fin will be with 'green' pod.

Registrations:
A quick reminder that Juan the Eastern Regional Director is in charge of all 2* registrations. If you need to change your entry for any reason he is the one to help you out. IFSA is in charge of all 3* registrations, if you need help with any of those for any reason, let Juan and IFSA know and they can help you out.
*MRG 2*- Opens up tonight at 6pm and closes on 1/12 at 6pm. Remember to sign up early if you want to get in. Every single comp has been filling up, the sooner you sign up the better chances you have to get in. Here is the Event Guide for the comp, I know they haven't filled anything out yet but this is where most info will be. Sugarbush 2*- Still open, only a couple of spots open.
*Jay 2*- Open for waitlist only and coaches.
*Jay Friendly- Need to call the Ski and Ride School Desk at Jay to register- (802) 327-2329 .+1 802-327-2329 via Google Voice"> Please let us know if you are signing up for this event so that we know how many coaches we will need. Thanks!
*Stowe 2*- Still a few spots left.
*Smuggs 2*- Currently closed but will reopen at 6pm tonight for a waitlist and coaches.
*Smuggs 3*- Still open, entry is 100% based on seeding points. Will confirm the last 10% of athletes 2 weeks before comp.
*Sunday River 2*- Will open on 1/17 at 6pm. We WILL NOT be supporting this comp with coaches. If we use the weather day at the Smuggs 3*, it will be the very next day. Reach out to me if you are really considering this for you/your athlete.
*MRG 3*- Still open, entry is 100% based on seeding points. They will confirm the last 10% 2 weeks before the comp.

Judging Clinic
At 3pm on Saturday in the Yurt I will offer a clinic on judging for those that are interested. I will go over the basics of Judging in our sport with a deep dive into Rider Level and Rider Potential. If you are newer into the sport, or want help figuring out Rider Level. Come with your questions and we will get things answered for you.
